High means “look now.” Medium is “queue it.” Low is background. See how we label severity.

What you get

A practical competitor command center

  • Competitor activity: website changes, social updates, jobs, launches and press
  • Complaint and comment intelligence across public reviews, social, and forums
  • A unified signal feed and competitor profiles instead of five browser tabs
  • Scoped for operators — timely alerts, not analyst-grade research workflows

Why Screenside

Built so small teams can see rivals clearly and move first

Screenside is competitive intelligence lite: focused rivals, timely signals, and complaint opportunities — without the enterprise suite tax.

One command center

Stop bouncing between LinkedIn, careers pages, review sites, and a messy spreadsheet. Screenside pulls rival moves into one ranked inbox your team can run in minutes a day.

Complaints as opportunity

When buyers vent about a competitor’s pricing, support, or product gaps, that window is short. We surface public complaint spikes so you can act while the pain is still fresh.

Built for SMB operators

No analyst program, no six-month implementation, no enterprise seat matrix. Track the rivals you already watch and get a clear next move—not a research backlog.

Signals with a schedule

Manual scans when you need them, plus optional scheduled website, careers, and complaint checks with a short email digest so you do not live in the tab.

Priority labels

What High, Medium, and Low mean

Every signal gets a plain-language priority so you know what to open first. Labels are directional guides from public sources — not legal findings or guaranteed intent.

High

Act soon — likely customer pain or a competitive move that can change deals this week.

Example · A spike of public pricing complaints about a rival, or a major site/pricing page change that undercuts your offer.

Medium

Worth a look on your next pass — useful context, not necessarily urgent.

Example · A new mid-level job posting that hints at a product push, or a moderate social thread about a rival’s support delay.

Low

Background noise or routine activity. Keep for history; skip if you are short on time.

Example · A generic company update, a low-signal social post, or a minor page tweak with little commercial impact.

Data privacy & storage

What we store, where it lives, and how you control it

What Screenside stores

  • Account email and authentication credentials (via Supabase Auth)
  • Your workspace name and membership
  • Competitors you add (name, website, industry, notes)
  • Signals and scan snapshots from public web sources you enable
  • Monitoring preferences and digest history for your workspace
  • Billing customer and subscription records when you subscribe (Stripe)

Where it is stored

Product data lives in a managed Supabase (Postgres) database with row-level security so each signed-in user only reaches workspaces they belong to. Email digests are sent through our transactional email provider when configured. Payment data is handled by Stripe; we store subscription status needed to unlock paid features, not full card numbers.

How it is secured

  • Tenant isolation with workspace membership checks and Postgres RLS policies
  • Signed-in access required for your real workspace (demo stays local/sample)
  • Service-role keys stay on the server; the browser uses scoped anon access
  • HTTPS for the app and marketing site in production

How you delete or change data

In the product under Settings → Data & privacy, you can review stored data categories, edit or remove competitors, and delete your workspace data or account with a confirmation step. Deleting a workspace removes competitors, signals, scan snapshots, monitoring settings, and digest history tied to that workspace. Auth account removal is requested through the same controls; residual auth-provider logs may remain for a short period under provider policy.

Accuracy

Public signals, not perfect truth

Screenside summarizes publicly available competitor activity and complaints. Sources can be incomplete, delayed, sarcastic, or wrong. Severity scores and rankings are helpers for triage — not legal advice, financial advice, or verified claims about any company. Always open the original source before you act on a signal, and treat competitor search suggestions as starting points you accept or reject.

Scope

What Screenside is not

  • Not an enterprise compete OS (battlecards-first, win-loss suites, CRM coach workflows)
  • Not a pure brand-reputation suite for your own brand only
  • Not a comments-only single-feature tool

See rivals clearly. Move first.

Open your real workspace, or walk through the sample demo first. Two separate paths — pick the one you need.
